I am Ebony Hatchett, director and performer for Infiltrator Arts, and I am
excited about the upcoming Dar Al-Mamun residency opportunity and the ability to help your festival succeed. I am writing because today I post-mailed my proposal: Mimic & Destroy (a multi-media performance and installation), in order to be considered for the Dar Al-Mamun residency. Thank you in advance for your time. However, I post-mailed my proposal to the Dar Al-Mamun address in Marrakesh, Morocco (as per the HubAfrica website). As an artist in New York City, the fee for shipping was considerate and therefore may not be able to forward the proposal a second time to the French address - please forgive me for any inconvenience. This October ODISHA and Jammu will see a festival of a different type in the name of Green World Art Festival. More than 100 artists, artists from all over the world with different shades will start the Festival from Orissa on 31 oct, to 7 nov for the final presentation of all the documented works.
ODISHA is famous for beautiful temples, rivers; sea beaches and jungle .if artist want to do their performance in this area they can use. Make it successful and give a new vision to the world & every day we will stand few minutes for GREEN WORLD. Prerana Green World Art Festival envisages bringing this message to every household of Odisha, thereby promoting a universal cause in a regional way. It wishes mass awareness building measures to associate the non – concerned common people in the fight against global warming. Under the program, convergence of representatives from many countries in Bhubaneswar has been proposed. The convergence will enable both the participants and local communities exchange climate details, know the problem in world perspective, and create universal Fraternity, cultural integration and harmony. The festival consists of program on awareness building for plantation, sanitation and control air pollution, water pollution, sound pollution, earth pollution and prevention of soil erosion and loss of rain water through dance, drama, song and art.
So we looking forward to realize successfully your individual project, and simultaneously expect you to collaborate with any participant of your choice in the camp while travelling.
And we hope this letter will enable you to raise funds to meet your entire travelling and other expenses to realize your dream project for Green World Art Festival in India. We too are in process to generating support for the success of this ambitious event.

This call for projects ends on July 9, 2010. Subsequently, the board and the directors of the Festival of Regions, with the support of an independent, international program advisory committee, will make a preliminary selection. Within this preliminary selection, the festival director will compile a program.

You can expect a response to your project's chances for realisation before October 1, 2010.
